  A woman was killed earlier this week in what appears to be a drag racing accident in north Minneapolis. Cheresa Sims died when the mini-van she was riding in slammed into a light pole at the intersection of Plymouth and N. James Ave.Sims' boyfriend, Robert Barnes was the driver of the mini-van which was carrying seven passengers. Another passenger was injured in the crash.Barnes fled the scene...

  A driver who apparently had to much "holiday spirits" caused minor accidents in both the west-bound lanes of 1-94. He was going the wrong way (east in the west-bound lane) when he hit a woman's car, but he somehow managed to get going in the right direction.
