For the fourth time since last year the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled counterfeit circuit breakers.  The circuit breakers are labeled with the Square D name and may be a potential fire hazard.  They are believed to be manufactured in China by an unknown company.

The counterfeit circuit breakers are black and are labeled as Square D QO-series models 115, 120, 130, 215, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260 and 2020 and Square D QOB-series models 115, 120, 130, 220, 230, 250, 260 and 1515.

They were distributed by a Florida company, Specialty Lamp International, and the counterfeits were sold nationwide between May 2005 and June 2006.

The company can be contacted for more information about the recall at 1-866-650-3076 or their website www.ebulb.com.  The recall involves over 371,000 units.  Consumers are urged to stop using the counterfeit circuit breakers immediately.
