Multiple cars and trucks were involved in an accident on Interstate 94 in Maple Grove on April 23rd. The accident happened in the morning and had traffic backed up for hours.

The state patrol is still piecing together what happened; but we do know that the accident involved a city of Minneapolis dump truck, a semi-truck, and at least four other vehicles.

One person was airlifted to a local hospital, but the state patrol says no one involved in the crash suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to witnesses the dump truck hit the guard rail and another car went over the guard rail.
