11 Died On Minnesota Roads Over Memorial Day Weekend

Eleven people died in fatal car accidents during the Memorial Day weekend in Minnesota. And three remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The accident happened Saturday, in Olmsted County when a van, carrying 6 people was struck, killing four and seriously injuring Rita M. Seha, 43, and Carter Newell, 2.

Seha remained in critical Monday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, but no information was available about Carter’s condition. Both patients are from Rochester.

John Hubers, 41, of Oak Grove remained in critical condition at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was critically injured in a head-on collision that killed his wife in Cass County on Saturday.

And, in Iowa, at least nine people were killed in car accidents over the holiday weekend.
